Todd grew up in Concord, California, and moved to Wausau, Wisconsin as a freshman in high school. He played soccer at the University of Nebraska and got his master's of International Management from Thunderbird in Glendale, Arizona.
The concept of managed IT services was compelling to Todd because he saw the value TeamLogic IT adds to clients' operations. His favorite part of the job is meeting with clients. Ruth Tolly
Ruth has 20+ years of global leadership experience. She has managed and led teams for mid-to-large organizations through significant change and growth. Ruth has consulted with senior managers and executives within the technology, finance, healthcare, hospitality, and telecommunications industries.
While Ruth grew up in a family of IT professionals, she is driven by her passion for people and business rather than an interest in IT. She believes the human element of commerce is what drives success or failure. When Todd approached her with the opportunity to buy TeamLogic IT, she jumped at the chance to impact people positively.
People are always surprised that Ruth has two master’s degrees but no undergraduate degree. She enjoys adventure, cultivating authentic relationships, being a wife and mother, and spending time in the great outdoors!

Phil Sherrer
As an 80s kid, Phil had an immediate fascination with computers. He began programming at nine years old. And while he had a love for technology, he graduated with a BA in Criminal Justice and began his career at a large non-profit organization. Ironically, everyone turned to him for help with technical issues, which fostered his IT expertise. He eventually founded an IT company that he ran for 20 years.
Phil finds joy in fresh powder snow, the smell of forest air, time with friends and family, playing or listening to live music, and accelerating through a long sweeper on his motorcycle.

Kevin Rudy
Kevin Rudy has over six years of professional IT experience. He previously worked for Fusion Technology Solutions. He is a skilled troubleshooter and has experience in a wide range of technologies relating to networks, servers, desktops, printers, laptops, and mobile devices. He graduated from Empire College with two certifications in CompTIA A+ and CompTIA Net+.
Kevin has been interested in computers for as long as he can remember. His childhood pastime was breaking his Dad’s computer. But that experimentation paid off when he went to school for IT and made it his career. He loves helping people solve complex problems and learning about new technologies.
Kevin loves being a Dad. He enjoys the simple things in life like fishing, family, good BBQ, the outdoors, and great beer. His favorite quote is by Park and Recreation’s Ron Swanson: “Give a man a fish and feed him for a day. Don’t teach a man to fish…and feed yourself. He’s a grown man. And fishing’s not that hard.”

Anthony Ferguson
1: What led you to the IT industry, and what do you like most about working in this field?
(This is a very open-ended question--but a good one! This is a long-winded answer, but I figured you'd want some of my background as well)
I majored in biology and after college I took a job managing a small test lab for an environmentally friendly parts-cleaning manufacturer in Baltimore, MD. The company network ran Novell Netware, and the network was forever going down and causing problems. So, I decided to start my own competing network by cobbling together old computers and printers, creating a customer database, and more. After a while it became obvious that I liked being "the network guy" more than I liked being "the laboratory guy" and I decided to make a career out of Information Technology.
I was offered a job to join the helpdesk for the Army Research Laboratory in Aberdeen, Maryland and was quickly promoted to a server administrator, and then to team leader as I continued to learn and grow. Upon leaving ARL, I joined the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center in Washington, DC in 2002 as part of their Active Directory design team.
My career led me to a role as an Onsite Systems Engineer for Dell Technologies, supporting higher-education accounts in the Mid-Atlantic area, including the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Johns Hopkins University, and the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Lab in Maryland. As my career progressed, I moved into pre-sales consulting roles, and eventually into Account Executive roles for DataDirect Networks and later, Lenovo, as part of their business development effort in partnership with Nutanix in the New England area.
I re-joined Dell in 2018 as a Data Center Account Executive covering public accounts in Maryland, Delaware, Virginia, and Washington DC. I was invited to join the Dell APEX Acceleration Team, helping customers align their cloud strategies and on-premise infrastructure to eliminate silos and move to an OPEX financial model utilizing technology offerings under Dell's APEX umbrella.
In my current role as a Client Technology Advisor and virtual CIO for TeamLogic IT, I get to do the thing that I love most about being a technologist: help our clients leverage technology to solve problems and address challenges so that they can focus on their core business.
2: What is your favorite "identity" you hold (e.g. Dad, coach, cook, hiker etc.)
I have two favorite identities: teacher and husband. I love teaching people and sharing the things I've learned over the years.
But more importantly, I am married to one of the most wonderful people I've ever known, and without her love and support I can't imagine where I'd be. I certainly wouldn't be living in California!
3: What is something about you that always surprises people?
I think the thing that surprises people is my music background. I have played in bands for decades, and I'm a pretty good guitarist and bassist. I absolutely love music, and try to make it a part of my daily life in one way or another.
4: What is a favorite quote or motto you live by?
To me, life is far too complicated to live by a single motto or quote. I could provide quotes from real and fictional people--from Brooks Robinson to Atticus Finch--yet if you asked me every day for a year, you'd get 365 different answers.
I suppose the best way I can answer this question is to quote the Latin phrase "avia pervia." This is the motto of the Italian city of Modena, and loosely translated it means "may the difficult paths be made easy to walk." That's lovely, but this is a passive interpretation and I much prefer the active interpretation that says, "let's make the difficult things look easy." And really, that's what my job is all about: making the difficult parts of IT easier for our clients.
5: Name 5 things that bring you joy
Van Halen, good baseball, silly dogs, great wine, and my wife.
