Gary enjoys helping companies gain more time to focus on running their business by lightening their technology burden. He has managed IT services for small startups as well as some of the largest Fortune 500 companies. That experience, coupled with the expertise of the TeamLogic IT network, has provided a myriad of best practices and state-of-the-art tools to really make a difference for clients.
Prior to opening the TeamLogic IT location with business partner Jack Perkins in February 2021, Gary held several significant positions with a variety of companies. Early in his career he served for 10 years as Director of HR Systems at Intermountain Healthcare. After leading a $55 million initiative at Tektronix to centralize all business systems and replace over 1,100 legacy systems in 23 countries with Oracle Financials, he left to co-found Sabrix, a venture-backed indirect tax software company. Sabrix was acquired by Thomson Reuters where Gary spent time as an executive. Then, at the request of some former employees at Sabrix, Gary joined a small startup called Cordiance (a company that had developed a novel robotic process automation to assist in implementing large tax engines like Sabrix) as Chief Operating Officer.
In addition to helping customers leverage technology, Gary also enjoys hiking, backpacking, kayaking, skiing, and golfing along with spending time with family and participating in community service.
Jack enjoys helping people and organizations achieve their potential. His experience spans startups to the Fortune 500 with the bulk of his career spent leading and guiding professional services teams. He met Gary Allen when he was working as Director of Professional Services at Cordiance, introduced to the team by one of Jack's long-term friends who happened to be one of Gary's former employees at Sabrix.
Prior to TeamLogic IT Jack has held varied positions across a wide spectrum of industries and markets. He was Senior Vice President and Co-Founder of a company serving the K-12 education market, and a Senior Product Manager with NCR Corporation, spending a decade in the community banking software business. He served as Director of Global Services Operations for both Siebel Systems and Interwoven, and was a Senior Director with MCI Systemhouse where he helped deliver a network infrastructure project to support the deregulated power industry in California.
Jack enjoys travel, golfing, spending time with his family, and church service.
