Dr. William Dicker Owner TeamLogic IT Marietta

Dr. William Dicker is a native of Charleston, South Carolina and a proud U.S. Army veteran, having served honorably for more than 23 years. He has been married to his wife, Candice, for over 35 years, and together they have two children and four grandchildren. William and Candice currently reside in Alpharetta, Georgia.

Dr. Dicker currently serves as a Professor of Practice at Georgia State University, where he teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in information security. His professional background spans higher education, government, healthcare, and private industry, where he has built a reputation for practical leadership, cybersecurity expertise, and regulatory compliance knowledge.

His previous experience includes serving as a HIPAA Subject Matter Expert, supporting investigations of high-impact healthcare breaches on behalf of the Office for Civil Rights. He has also provided cybersecurity consulting and advisory services to state agencies and private-sector organizations in areas such as information security management, regulatory compliance, security awareness training, penetration testing, and vulnerability management. In addition, he has held leadership roles including Virtual Chief Information Security Officer (vCISO) consultant and Information Security and Compliance Manager.

Dr. Dicker earned a Doctor of Business Administration (D.B.A.) from Georgia State University and a Master of Science in Information Security from the University of Maryland University College. He also holds multiple respected cybersecurity and compliance certifications, including Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) and completion of the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) certification program through Carnegie Mellon University.

Candice Dicker Owner TeamLogic IT Marietta

Candice Dicker brings a unique blend of operational leadership, risk management expertise, and strategic business insight to every organization she serves. A native of Savannah, Georgia, Candice spent much of her early life in Charleston, South Carolina, where she met her husband, William. Together for more than 35 years, they have built a strong family foundation with two sons and four grandchildren. Through William’s distinguished 23-year military career, the family lived in multiple locations, including two assignments in Germany, before settling in Alpharetta, Georgia.

Professionally, Candice has developed an impressive career centered on business operations, governance, and organizational excellence. Her expertise includes process and policy development, implementation oversight, internal controls, compliance programs, and enterprise risk assessments. She is known for helping organizations strengthen accountability, improve efficiency, and confidently navigate complex regulatory environments.

Candice holds a Master of Business Administration from Texas A&M University-Commerce and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Project Management from Colorado Technical University. She is also a Certified Chief Risk Officer (CRO) through Carnegie Mellon University, reflecting her advanced leadership capabilities and expertise in executive risk strategy and governance.
