Formed Woodfield Partners, LLC in 2017 which owns and operates a TeamLogic IT franchise in multiple North Carolina markets. TeamLogic IT is a provider of technology services to small and mid-sized businesses. Prior to opening TeamLogic IT, Joined First Tennessee Bank, National Association as Executive Vice President in 2004. He was named President of the Mid-Atlantic Region in January 2013 and Chairman of the Region in 2016. As President of the region, Fox developed and implemented banking strategies and managed the banking operations in the Eastern United States for First Tennessee which focus upon corporate, commercial and private banking lines of business. Before joining First Tennessee Bank, Fox enjoyed a 20 year career with Wachovia Corporation. Most recently he was Managing Director of the Building and Forest Products, Metals and Mining Group within the Corporate and Investment Bank. Over the course of his Wachovia career, Fox held a range of regional commercial banking, corporate banking and corporate finance positions. Formerly held a number of FINRA securities licenses, including General Securities Representative, Uniform Securities Agent and General Securities Principal.
John has served on various boards and committees throughout his career. Currently, he is Chairman of the Board of the United Way of Forsyth County, and serves on the board of The Reynolda House Museum of American Art and the board of Raymond James Bank, N.A.
