Worldwide Company Gets IT Upgrade from TeamLogic IT

Challenge

One of our clients is a 75-year old worldwide manufacturing company with almost 100 employees many of whom work from their homes. The company had a small internal IT staff managing a self-developed computer infrastructure that had been in place for a long time, but was based on old Microsoft technology. They knew they needed to migrate their systems to current operating environments and new hardware to reliably support their global operations and sales efforts. Initially, they were looking at an ERP system but knew it would take a whole IT department to manage it successfully and cost was a huge concern.

Solution

When TeamLogic IT was called in to help, our team quickly realized the company’s old computers and servers were capable of critical hardware and software failures that could have been catastrophic for the company. We helped them design and implement an updated system, starting with just one U.S. office location. Once final implementation and testing was complete for this office, plans included upgrading the other locations around the world. Our team now also manages the company’s electronic mail system, virus protections and hosts two websites. We also helped them implement a new phone system.

Results

Even though the company no longer has an internal go-to person to handle their IT needs, they realize the benefit of having TeamLogic IT as their internal IT partner. Everyone in the company is trained to know that they can just call the team at TeamLogic IT and get help when needed. In most cases, issues are handled over the phone.
