Non-Profit Overcomes Race-day IT Challenges

Challenge

The local office of a non-profit healthcare organization was in the midst of their annual fundraising walk. Although the hundreds of race participants were excited and rearing to go, the office’s entire computer system was anything but ready. The computers were old, underpowered and in need of upgrades, and they were all running Windows XP, the now unsupported MS operating system. So when this office needed help with their wireless activity on race day, TeamLogic IT stepped in to help

Solution

“Our technician was onsite early that day to make sure the systems were up and running smoothly. Everything from participant registrations to their website, to tracking pledged donations needed to happen flawlessly that day, and since the organization was using recycled computers, we needed to ensure they were going to be reliable.”

Prior to working with TeamLogic IT the head of this office had used another local company for their outsourced IT needs but was asked by their corporate headquarters to obtain bids from three other companies. She said, “We had a few unsatisfactory issues with the other company. Then they changed employees, which made things a little better but we were ready to move on. I used to work at another company that used TeamLogic IT’s services.

“When our server had failed and email was down TeamLogic IT moved quickly to get us up and operating again. They have been very responsive and I really appreciate that they take the time to figure out what the problem is and resolve it for good, not just for the moment —they make sure it doesn’t happen again.”

This non-profit has a server and 10 computers on TeamLogic IT’s managed services program. By assuring high levels of availability, security and IT management across three levels of IT needs: proactive, preventative, and responsive, TeamLogic IT helps small businesses like this remain productive and competitive.

TeamLogic IT is now working with this organization to help them budget for future IT investments. Our automated day-to-day remote monitoring and management services are just part of the comprehensive suite of services we provide. We want to make sure their next race day is fully supported with the IT infrastructure they need to keep the sponsorship funds coming.
