TeamLogicIT franchisees share their success stories.
In January 2005, Tom & Vanessa Walsh were among the first entrepreneurs to open a TeamLogic IT business. Tom had
experience working in a corporate environment in technology services and Internet marketing; Vanessa’s experience was in
radio marketing and promotions.
They were looking to work for themselves and have greater control over their own destinies—to succeed
or fail on their own merits. When they learned of the TeamLogic IT franchise opportunity, they knew
they had found what they were looking for—the independence of owning their own business backed by
the technical expertise of TeamLogic IT and and the strength and experience of Franchise Services, Inc.
Tom and Vanessa were well aware that the first year in any business is critical to its success. At six
months, their TeamLogic IT had achieved steady month-over-month growth, proving to Tom and
Vanessa that they were on their way to realizing their entrepreneurial dreams....read more...
Tom & Beverly Cornelius, with backgrounds in military
command, value the opportunity to be in charge of their own
business and future, while appreciating the knowledge and
experience available to them from TeamLogic IT and
Franchise Services, Inc.
Tom completed his service in the Army with a very impressive resume as a West Point graduate with
MBA and MS degrees. His background includes experience as a Company Commander, Information
System Security Officer, helicopter pilot, and logistician. Upon leaving the military, he worked as a
Department of Defense contractor, maintaining U.S. Joint Forces Command information systems to
protect data from unauthorized users. Working as an independent contractor, however, left Tom feeling
somewhat unfulfilled. As an Army commander he had been responsible for 300 soldiers working under
his guidance and he wanted to be in a position to make a difference once again. ...read more...
“No doubt about it, I was at a career crossroads,” reflects Pete
Siler, the proud owner of the new, thriving TeamLogic IT franchise
of Tysons Corner, VA. “A decision had to be made: I was working
too hard, too long, for too little on my own.”
For Pete, who unfurled his TeamLogic IT banner in June 2006, becoming a franchisee after 10 years of
self-employment as a computer consultant has already fueled renewed energy and growth; attracted a
new, more business-oriented type of clientele and generated a revenue stream about twice what he had
on his own. “TeamLogic IT is the only computer franchise I would have bought,” he observes. “Their
input and help has been invaluable.”
A native of Northern Virginia, just outside Washington D.C., Pete earned his Bachelor’s degree in
Finance from Virginia Tech back in 1980. Exhibiting a flair for computers, he worked as a programmer
for a cutting-edge pension record-keeping software company before relocating to become the firm’s Los
Angeles branch manager in 1984. From there, he became a pension software consultant and Director of
R&D for a high powered 401K record-keeping system designed for the PC.
